Required Skills: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare cost estimates in a timely manner at various stages of design from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing • Participate in project meetings, review schedules and prepare reports • Review and understand project requirements • Negotiate construction prices with subcontractors for competitive bidding • Organize subcontractors’ quotations by trade with work items and comparative scope analysis • Exhibit a full understanding of general conditions, fee percentage calculations and scheduling of projects • Ensure Project Management team is provided with necessary documentation throughout the estimating process and work together on issues as they arise • Maintain good communication with clients and subcontractors • Demonstrate leadership of assigned projects including internal communication and meetings This job description is intended to outline those functions typically performed by individuals assigned to this position. QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication • Strong attention to detail and organization • Display strong time management and decision-making skills • Ability to meet deadlines, internal and external • Experience with Microsoft Office required • Proficient in Building Connected, On Screen Take Off and Timberline Project Management preferred
